Organic Baby Gift Boutique - Piggy Paint Review and Giveaway!

I love finding all natural and nontoxic products. I especially love coming across organic products for our children. I had been looking for nail polish and nail polish remover, after learning about all the harmful things that are commonly found in nail polish.

I found Organic Baby Gift Boutique and soon realized they had much more than chemical free nail polish. They have everything from organic skin care, to bedding & nursery and organic toys and more. I was pretty thrilled to look through each section, even if we don't have little babies; we have friends and family who do! I really thought my girls would like the Piggy Paint, which had a HUGE selection of colors, it was so hard to pick out a set.

Piggy Paint doesn't just offer a HUGE selection of piggy paints in singles or sets, but also nail paint pens and decals, as well as nail paint remover.

I received the Ribbons, Bows and Toes set, which contains Sweetpea, Dragon Tears and Fairy Fabulous Colors. A light green, pink and purple.

PiggyPaint Features and Boasts:
  • Non-toxic - free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, Bisphenol A, ethyl acetate and acetone
  • Low Odor
  • Water-based formula
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Fun, vibrant colors
  • Dries to a hard, durable finish
  • Cruelty-free
  • Safe for use during Pregnancy!
There are a lot of popular brand nail polish companies that use the above mentioned chemicals and if you're trying to steer clear of them, read labels before purchasing. Look here in the chemical dictionary to learn more about those chemicals.

I've been waiting for the other girls to "want" to have their nails painted, I guess Kindergarten is taking more steam out of them than I thought :P Luckily for me, Lily wanted her nails painted the light green color. She loves it! I love that it wasn't a stinky polish. It also dried really fast.

The color itself is great. I used 2 thin coats on her nails, to make sure that they would dry fast but also to make sure the color went on evenly. With the first coat, I could tell the color was soft and pearly. By the time the second coat had dried, her nails were shimmering and beautiful. She felt so grown up :)

The trio set has a value of $24.99.   You can use our giveaway GC to get a set, OR apply its $25 value to anything in the store!

We have a winner..
